LOOK ALIVE
“Look Alive” is an evolving studio, gallery, and social space exhibited within Guild Hall Cultural Center and Museum in East Hampton New York. This unique showcase highlights the thriving emergent creative community on the East End and broader landscape of the region. Featuring the works of Harris Allen, Kai Parcher-Charles, Mamoun Nukumanu, Kate Kavanaugh, Kiva Motnyk, and Jasmine Chamberlain, and organized by independent curator Ellie Duke. Utilizing video, sound, sculpture, textile, florals, and other media.
Kiva Motnyk’s contribution showcases foraged naturally dyed textiles hand quilted and assembled on site. Engaging the community space with an experimental quilting workshop, inviting participants to explore the materials used in the artwork on display.
